Infit and outfit statistics are not easy to understand.  My wild guess about why this is the case is that the names are misleading.  They seem to indicate that one statistics is more tuned to IN and the other is for OUT.  But I *think* correctly OUTFIT is just a fit statistic and INFIT is for a statistics that is NOT verty sensitive to OUTFIT.
