Japanese fast foods

A list of Japanese fast food that you can print out to bring with you to Japan
Please report if I miss anything in this list (info@estat.us).

Japanese fast foods taste great, but they are not always on the menu at a typical Japanese restaurant abroad.
  • Gyudon (Beef bowl)
    • My comment: I never ate gyudon until I went to college.  I just had never seen it before in my hometown and I did not know the existence of it until I lived in Kyoto.
    • Yoshinoya
    • Gyudon recipe
  • Ramen
    • My comment: Americans only know Maruchan cup ramen.  In Japan there are higher level ramen all over the places.  I don't know why real ramen shops are not as popular as sushi restaurants in America.
    • TenkaIppin
    • You might also try gyza at Ramen shops
  • Okonomiyaki
